AND HOW EXACTLY DOES IT
WORK? Simple: get on
the internet from your laptop, desktop, cellphone,
ipod... go to a specific website, LOG IN with you
username/password and a map shows up
(google maps or mapquest).
GPS equipment from your vehicle will send out it's
location to the internet every 5-60 seconds
depending on the settings you choose, so the map
you will see a trail of dots to and from any place
that vehicle as been. New dots will appear in
real-time as the vehicle is moving to a new
location.
HOW HARD IS IT TO
INSTALL/OPERATE? It is so
simple to install a child could set it up and use
it. You can literally just throw the GPS equipment
in the trunk, glove box, engine bay... and be
done! GPS equipment has a built in battery so
there is NO INSTALLATION REQUIRED at all. However
we highly recommend that you take 5 minutes and
simply connect two wires to the vehicle battery so
that the GPS equipment runs off the vehicles
battery and doesn't require recharging every few
days.
